Larkin’ Hill Horse Trials showcases the equestrian sport of eventing – a three phase competition that includes dressage, cross-country and stadium jumping – in picturesque Columbia County.

Larkin’ Hill Horse Trials attracts horses and riders from across New York and New England. The event provides a unique opportunity to reach a specialized market of equestrians, horse lovers, regional visitors and local residents.

Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.)

Larkin' Hill is proud to be participating in the The Jockey Club’s Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.).  To participate, at no extra cost, please include a copy of your T.I.P. identification card.  Don't have a card...please visit to register for one. Entries accepted up until the start of the applicable division.

Only Thoroughbreds that have been registered with The Jockey Club or a foreign Thoroughbred stud book recognized by The Jockey Club are eligible to participate in T.I.P. classes and awards.
Riders and owners should obtain a T.I.P. number for all horse/rider combinations. T.I.P. number applications are done online at T.I.P. numbers must be provided to the horse show. Hard copy forms will also be provided to shows.
